Club Athletico Paranaense (CAP) is a Brazilian professional football club based in Curitiba, Paraná. Founded on 26 March 1924, they play their home matches at the Arena da Baixada, which holds 42,372 spectators. They currently compete in the Campeonato Paranaense, the state of Paraná's premier state league, and in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the Brazilian top-tier league. Athletico Paranaense is one of the major forces in Paraná, having won the state league 28 times. At the national level, it won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2001 and the Copa do Brasil in 2019.
