Dr. Abdul Hasib Chowdhury has been teaching and carrying out research at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the last 32 years. He has more than 25 years of experience in the Power Sector, particularly with Power Grid Operations, Planning and Optimization, Reliability, and Enhancement. He has extensive experience in Power Transmission and Distribution, Data Acquisition and Control, Power System Stability and Security, Grid Reliability Analysis, System related studies (load flow analysis, fault analysis, transient stability analysis, contingency and security analysis, vulnerability analysis; frequency stability, voltage stability, and angular stability analysis; power quality analysis, etc.), Development of under-frequency load shedding and islanding scheme for BPS, Review of grid code and other major areas.
