About

Dr. Md. Sohel Rana is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Data Science at East West University, Bangladesh. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Research and Training (CRT), East West University. Previously, he served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia, for five years. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Statistics from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Mathematics, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Rana has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in statistics, mathematics, and data science. He has published more than 85 research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
