Nazmul Haque naturally works on developing theoretical framework in traffic and transportation engineering. He is expert in detection and classification of traffic from video sensors. He has experiences to work with the Non-Equilibrium Theory, Kinematic Wave Theory, Extreme Value Theory and Chaos Theory. He has also worked with the fundamental diagrams and developed both machine learning and deterministic models to calibrate fundamental diagrams. Furthermore, he has revived the age old theories to calibrate multi-regime fundamental diagrams of traffic flow. He has also introduced non-linear multivariate form in logistic regression which has additional degrees of freedom and improved fitness. He has also experiences to work with Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm for different purposes.
