About

Farzana Rifat Siddique is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law at East West University. She obtained her LL.B. (Hons.) from East West University with Summa Cum Laude, followed by an LL.M. from the University of Asia Pacific under the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies (UMSAILS) scholarship, and an MSS in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Dhaka. Her teaching and research focus on criminology and criminal justice, family laws, human rights, and socio-legal studies. She also supervises undergraduate dissertations on these areas. As a member of the Department's Moot Court Committee, she has coordinated several moot court workshops, and student training programs, while coaching and mentoring teams for different moot court competitions. Her broader academic interests include advancing legal research, strengthening advocacy skills, and fostering practice-oriented legal education.
