Hridoy Roy, Father Brojo Gopal Roy, Mother Padma Roy, was born on April 2, 1998 in Moulvibazar district of Sylhet division. This young man, who spent his childhood and adolescence in the lap of green tea gardens and nature, was admitted to the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) back in 2017 to obtain B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, BUET. Since his graduation, he has been involved in research in various laboratories of the university and published more than 30 research/review papers in various internationally renowned journals. At present, using different nanotechnology and nanomaterial, he is working to purify polluted water and achieve zero discharge in the industries of Bangladesh. He was awarded as the Best Presenter at IEICES-2021 held at Kyushu University, Japan by presenting the work of water purification with specially modified nano-cellulose. His published journal article…
