- Conference Leadership and Technical Contributions Md. Mahfuzul Haque contributed to the 2026 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Quantum Photonics, Artificial Intelligence & Networking (QPAIN 2026) , held from 16–18 April 2026 at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, and organized by the IEEE Photonics Society Bangladesh Chapter. At this prestigious international conference, he served in multiple leadership and academic roles, including Member of the National Advisory Panel , Co-Chair of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) , and Session Chair for technical sessions. As TPC Co-Chair, he played a key role in overseeing the rigorous peer-review process of more than 1,000 submitted research articles and personally reviewed several manuscripts, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and power systems, helping to maintain the technical quality and academic integrity of the conference. During the closing ceremony, he had the honor of delivering remarks and announcing the top five award-winning papers selected from over 1,000 submissions, reflecting his active involvement in the conference's academic evaluation and recognition process. The conference also provided valuable opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and learning, particularly regarding the applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in renewable energy and power systems. His contributions demonstrate continued engagement with the international research community and commitment to advancing scientific excellence through IEEE-sponsored activities. Invited Speaker and Technical Committee Contributions Md. Mahfuzul Haque was invited as an Invited Speaker at the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Photonics, Artificial Intelligence, and Networking , held from 31 July to 02 August 2025 , organized by the IEEE Photonics Society Bangladesh Chapter and hosted by the Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur, Nilphamari, Bangladesh, where he delivered a talk titled “Perovskites – The Game Changer in Solar Energy: Progress and Challenges”, highlighting cutting-edge research on perovskite solar cells. ( 10.1109/QPAIN66474.2025.11172029 ) In addition to the invited talk, he contributed to the conference as a Technical Program Committee Member , reviewing several submitted manuscripts to ensure academic quality and integrity, and also served as a Session Chair of a technical session during the event, reflecting his active role in the academic and research community. Advisory Panel Appointment Md. Mahfuzul Haque has been selected as an Advisory Panel Member of the reputed journal Engineering Research Express (published by IOP Science ), which is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) .
