He is a professor of Textile Engineering at Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX). He completed his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from Dhaka University in first class. He completed his M.Sc. from Bolton University (UK), and also Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Japan. He achieved Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Open University, BD at Dhaka University campus. He received his PhD from TUT, Japan under Monbukagakusho Scholarship, Japan. He was the Head of Department of Fabric Engineering Department and Textile Machinery Design and Maintenance Department of BUTEX. He was Dean of Science and Engineering Faculty, BUTEX. He is acting as Dean in BUTEX at present. He has a lot of Papers, Patents, Books. His patents on nano composite are the first patent among textile engineers in BD. His researches were presented in international conference in BD, India, China, Japan, France, Vietnam etc. countries. He is reviewer of international journals and life member in IEB, ITET…
