Prof. Dr. Md. Afzalur Rahman is a Senior Consultant in Cardiology at Continental Hospital, Dhaka. He completed his MBBS, Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Cardiology, and Ph.D. in Cardiology, standing as an internationally renowned pioneer in interventional cardiology and former Director and Professor at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). His clinical portfolio focuses on coronary angiogram, complex coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI), primary PCI for acute myocardial infarction, bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusions (CTO), and structural heart interventions.
