Rodrigo Hernández Cascante (born 22 June 1996), known simply as Rodri or Rodrigo, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for La Liga club Barcelona and captains the Spain national team. Widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, he is known for his passing, composure, playmaking and physical attributes. He is one of eleven players to have won the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Ballon d'Or in their career, and the only one to win the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA European Championship, UEFA Nations League, UEFA Champions League and the Best Player Award of each tournament.
