Dr. Abida Sultana

Dr. Abida Sultana is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science at the University of Dhaka. Her research investigates coordination chemistry, crystallography, and bioinorganic chemistry. She teaches coordination chemistry, inorganic spectroscopy, and chemical bonding. She directs student research synthesizing transition metal coordination complexes with bioactive ligands, analyzing their single-crystal structures and antioxidant behaviors. Her scholarly works in structural inorganic chemistry enrich our understanding of metal-ligand architecture, guiding the molecular formulation of functional coordination complexes.
